I looked through the window of my hotel room to see if I notice any suspicious person. Pacing around the room, thinking of what to do next. Why did they let me go? I wondered. They knew I could call the police and implicate Zack, yet they let me go. This was difficult for me to understand. My mind ran to Bill, it may not be safe for him to stay in the residence since I do not know to what extent the people that took Lolandra could go. I decided to call Bill to ask him to leave the residence and go stay with a friend since it could be dangerous for him. His phone rang and a strange voice answered me and told me they had Bill and said that I should not do anything stupid.
I asked to speak with Lolandra and he hung up the phone.
I wished Lolandra had told me something then I could go to the police but now no one would believe me. Who would believe that after we met a man who said nothing to us at Zack's place that my friend and next door neighbor were taken by gunmen and I am nowhere to be found.
I decided to call the police anyway and tell them what had happened to Lolandra and Bill.

They asked when Lolandra was taken and I said about four hours ago. Why did you wait this long to contact us, said the police officer I was talking to. Where are you now? he asked and I told him I was in a different city and was too scared to stay home.
He said they were going to start making an investigation, I said thanks and he hung up.
I called the hotel reception and requested that my food be served in my room. Half an hour later, I heard a knock at the door and I opened. They brought in my food and I shut the door fast.
I had hardly finished my food when I heard another knock, I opened and it was four police officers, they said I needed to come with them to answer questions about my missing friend and neighbor.
Was I been arrested for my missing friend and neighbor?
Would they believe me that I knew nothing about all this? Would they believe that I am innocent and yet the gunman let me go?
